The Comelit video entry app is a true innovation. Its advanced features allow you to use the system as if you were standing directly in front of your apartment monitor. It also offers additional functions that enhance the sense of security for your home and your loved ones, whether you are there or away.
By downloading the app to your smartphone or tablet, you can:
- Answer visitors ringing your doorbell wherever you are,
- View live video from the entrance panel camera and from any additional cameras connected to the system,
- Open the door,
- Communicate with other users of the system through intercom,
- Record pop-up videos for calls you missed or when you had no internet connection, and
- Activate or deactivate further automations, such as turning on the main entrance lights.
In addition to the above functions, the Comelit app also offers face recognition capability. Thanks to this feature, you can choose which visitors are allowed to enter your property when they ring the doorbell, without manually granting them access. For example, if you want your children to be able to enter the house while you are away at work, they can ring the bell and the app will still send the call to your smartphone to notify you of their arrival. Without even pressing the “open door” button, the app can automatically grant them access. For added security, you can remove the face recognition option for any visitor at any time and reactivate it again very easily whenever you wish.
Another revolutionary feature of the Comelit app is motion detection. Users can select the area in which they wish to receive notifications whenever movement is detected, and the app informs them by sending live video. (This function is only available in the app when connected to Visto.)
