According to the descriptions of the two codes, the ING-SIN-2H and the ING-SIN-3H differ in the number of wires used to connect to the KA/KCtr unit: 2 wires on the first, 3 on the second. For BUSing® installations there is the ING-SIN-BUS, which allows several detectors to be connected together.
Function and use ING-SIN-2H
ING-SIN-2H is an Ingenium flood detector that detects water leaks in the installation. The water sensor is carried by the metal terminals of the probe. An alarm state occurs only when water touches both metal terminals.
Installation ING-SIN-2H
Position: the probe goes in places where there is a risk of water leaks. On a sloping floor, it is placed where water collects by gravity. Mounting: vertical, with the lower flap touching the floor. The probe may be concealed, because its role is to send information to the home automation system.
Power: supplied by the KA/KCtr unit, while the probe’s consumption is negligible. Maximum recommended distance from the KA/KCtr unit: 30 m.
