Technical data 41RFU100B
- Type: addressable optical smoke detector of the LOGIFIRE series, black
- Operating principle: Tyndall effect
- Isolator: integrated in the detector
- Signal analysis: digital, by microprocessor, sensitive even in the early stages of a fire
- Compensation: automatic, according to the contamination level, with maintenance notification
- Sensitivity setting: three different levels
- Sensor chamber: cleaned quickly thanks to the easy release of the components
- Light indications: high visibility
- Address assignment: automatically or via a programmer
- Certification: EN 54-7 and EN 54-17
Compared with the 41RML100B multi-sensor, which adds A1R class rate-of-rise heat detection and EN 54-5 certification, this detector is an optical smoke detector to EN 54-7 only.
Standards 41RFU100B
41RFU100B is a LOGIFIRE optical smoke detector, certified to EN 54-7 and EN 54-17. EN 54-7 is the standard for point smoke detectors, the group to which the Tyndall light-scattering chamber belongs. EN 54-17 covers short-circuit isolators, here the isolator housed inside the detector.
Optical 41RFU100B versus heat detector 41RCS100B
Detector 41RCS100B: a black addressable heat detector of the same series, reacting to a fixed temperature threshold or a rapid rise. The optical detector reacts to smoke and has no heat element. Operating classes A1/R, A2/S and B/S are programmed on the heat detector, which is certified to EN 54-5 instead of EN 54-7.
