How to choose a Comelit home alarm
A home alarm consists of the control panel, the sensors, the keypad or remote control and the sirens. The first decision is whether the system will be wired or wireless.
VEDO wired alarm
The wired alarm system is based on the VEDO 34 and VEDO 68 control panels and suits homes with wiring for the sensors. It can be expanded with GSM and IP cards, RF modules for wireless devices and relay cards.
NEXUS and SECUR HUB wireless alarm
In the wireless alarm system the sensors communicate wirelessly with the control panel. The 32-zone NEXUS panel is set up from the app and comes in ready-made kits. The 32-zone SECUR HUB panel has an LCD interface, and its range includes a 4G module, a repeater, sirens and wireless smoke and flood detectors.
How many sensors you need

Frequently asked questions about home alarms
Wired or wireless home alarm?
The VEDO wired alarm needs cables for the sensors, so it suits homes that already have wiring or will add it during a renovation. In the NEXUS or SECUR HUB wireless alarm the sensors communicate wirelessly with the control panel, so you do not run cables for them.
Is there a home alarm with a camera?
Yes. In the NEXUS wireless system the motion sensor with a built-in camera takes up to 3 consecutive images at each alarm. There is also a ready-made NEXUS kit with this sensor, a magnetic contact and a remote control.
What does the cost of a home alarm depend on?
