Unlike the GW632100 (KNX-LG VRF), which connects directly to the indoor unit, the GW632220 connects to the RS485 bus of the LG outdoor units.
Function and use GW632220
The GW632220 is a KNX gateway for LG air conditioning systems, controlling up to 64 indoor units. Five operating modes are selected from KNX: cooling, heating, ventilation, drying and auto. The fan is set to four speeds: low, medium, high and auto.
Connection topology GW632220
Connection to the RS485 bus of the outdoor units lets one gateway serve many indoor units of the installation. The GW632100, which connects directly to the indoor unit, has the same five modes and four fan speeds.
