Dimensions: ø 102 mm, h 11 mm.

Function and use 43RBX000

The 43RBX000 is the standard low-profile Comelit base for conventional detectors, 102 mm in diameter and 11 mm high. In the Comelit fire detection catalogue, bases 43RBX001, 43RBX003 and 43RBX004 share the same 102 × 11 mm footprint. Each of them adds a specific function, while the 43RBX005 is the tall version.

Difference between 43RBX000 and 43RBX001, 43RBX003, 43RBX004, 43RBX005

43RBX001: base with a diode that senses when the detector is removed from its base, weight 42 g.

43RBX004: base with a diode for fire alarm panels with an alarm current of 45 mA or more.

43RBX003: base with a 12 VDC relay for interfacing with security systems, able to operate in reset mode, weight 46 g.

43RBX005: tall base, 25.3 mm high and 50 g, with room for cable routing and safety locking of the detector.

Compatibility 43RBX000

Spacer 43RBA002 is intended for conventional and addressable detectors on rough surfaces or cavity ceilings. It allows side entry of the wires through cable glands, which the tall 43RBX005 allows without a spacer. Protective base 43WET000 completes the base of a conventional or addressable detector and protects the detector from water in damp locations. It has side knockouts for M20 cable glands, which are not supplied. With suitable glands it reaches IP42 protection.

Product code: 43RBX000.
